Adequate bone volume and ideal soft tissue level/contour were considered requirements for implant therapy, with additional prerequisites for IIT of residual alveolar bone wall integrity and a thick gingival biotype. IIT included immediate placement and provisionalization, while DIT included extraction socket preservation followed by implant placement and provisionalization 4 months later.Cortical bone levels and peri-implant mucosal conditions were evaluated at regular intervals. Conclusions Within the limitations of this study (e.g., small sample size, short follow-up duration), the results suggest that regarding success rate, hard/soft tissue responses, and esthetics, DIT and IIT with single Laser-Lok R _ implants in the anterior maxilla are comparable and predictable options for well-selected patients.在有限的研究範圍內(例如：小樣本量，短時間的持續追蹤)所得結果建議，對於口腔條件佳的病患，利用Laser-lok植體，在上顎前牙區作單科植牙，不論DIT和IIT，對於成功率、美學結果、和軟硬組織的反應，都比較能得到可預測的結果。
